As a student teacher during my time at UDRU, I observed how the school/university, through its teachers, ensures that students have access to the resources, guidance, and opportunities they need to thrive academically.
Teaching System
The teaching system at Udon Thani Rajabhat University Demonstration School is exemplary, focusing on nurturing both academic growth and personal development. It is built around core values such as discipline, respect, punctuality, and kindness, which are deeply embedded in the school culture. Every morning, teachers and student teachers stand at the school gate to greet students and parents, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This ritual encourages a sense of belonging and mutual respect as the students greet their teachers in return. The same practice is followed in the afternoon as students and parents leave the school, reinforcing the school's commitment to respect and politeness.

The teaching methods at the school are dynamic and student-centered. Teachers utilize a range of hands-on activities, which are particularly effective in engaging students and helping them retain information. I observed that the students learn best when they are actively involved in the lesson, whether working individually, in pairs, or in groups. The activities before and after lessons are designed to allow students to apply what they’ve learned, reinforcing their understanding. Teachers also encourage collaborative learning, which fosters teamwork and communication skills among students.
Another notable feature of the teaching system is the strong sense of community and teamwork among both teachers and students. Teachers are highly supportive and provide consistent guidance, creating a safe and open learning environment. They encourage students to ask questions, actively participate, and express themselves, ensuring that all students feel comfortable and motivated to learn. This supportive atmosphere, paired with the hands-on, interactive teaching methods, allows students to thrive both academically and personally.
